I was enjoying a decent level of success in my professional life. But I knew that there was something missing. I wanted to be free from a shadowy feeling of disappointment and loss. I also wanted the same for my team.
Out of frustration and hopelessness, I looked everywhere for answers that would satisfy the gnawing ache I left in my heart after the relationship I had invested in for decades ended with him marrying someone else. I was also repeatedly passed over for promotions, scholarships, and others would get ahead in front of me even though I was the one who put in all the work. I was living paycheck to paycheck and could not see a way to get past the constant barrage of sudden mishaps that would wipe out my savings every time I did make any progress.
My life was so far less than what I knew it could be. I aggressively sought strategies and began to get downloads on how to move from where I was... stuck in uncertainty, and cycles of despair and depression. When I applied the downloads, these strategies changed my life ... QUICKLY.
I met and married my husband within 6 months of meeting each other. I migrated to the United States, and finished a Master's degree and then a doctorate. I had my miracle baby at 43, started my consultancy teaching others what I learned and the results have been phenomenal. I learned firsthand that leadership begins with me. It must be me, putting on my oxygen mask first, before I could help others. Once I did that, the people I worked with blossomed. They had explosive breakthrough!
